Smack Campus Magazine is currently hiring Freelance Content Writers for the upcoming issues of Smack Campus Magazine to cover Downtown, The Heights, Midtown, Montrose Houston, TX neighborhoods.  Categories feature, events, food & dining, performances, social media interests, sporting events, club and bar scene.

If you’re an experienced writer who is reliable, flexible, loves researching niche fields or industries, is interested in writing well-organized 600-to-2,000-word articles including video content, and can ensure all-around consistency (style, tone, images, etc.) we invite you to join the Smack Magazine Street Team.

The Smack Magazine Street Team provides content for our print publication, website, and social guide mobile app with engaging, informative, and entertaining articles.

Compensation Rates:
As a paid contributor you will submit articles/reviews on local events, venues and points of interest to our readers.
Average pay:
$0.05 a word for Street Team & Contributors
$0.10 a word for Street Team & Contributors
$0.15 a word for Street Team & Contributors
$5.00 per minute 1-2 minutes for digital content (reviews) Street Team & Contributors
*Featured Digital Content compensation based on advertisement purchased during Featured Digital Content airing
The per word rate will increase based on experience (contributions to official publications).
Contributors and Street Team members will receive an official photo press pass (Press ID).
